Join Diversity+ and the Scottish Ethnic Minorities Lawyers Association (SEMLA), in collaboration with The Law Society of Scotland, to celebrate South Asian Heritage Month 2025!

 

Inspired by this year's theme of "Roots to Routes", this hybrid event (with in-person attendance encouraged) will explore diverse routes into the legal profession and how cultural roots and heritage may have influenced individual career journeys. We'll explore how understanding one's history can provide a foundation for making informed decisions and charting a meaningful course through life.

 

There are 8 countries included in South Asia (Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, India, Pakistan, Nepal and Bhutan). We would love this event to be a celebration of all of these countries, and we welcome all attendees who want to contribute, as well as those who just want to listen.
