First up, we are joined by marketing-expert Julie Hecht as she discusses how to utilise social media as a law student and throughout your career as a networking tool. Julie will take us through the do’s and don’t’s of social media for law students, and how best to use social media platforms such as LinkedIn to elevate your potential, connect with decision makers and stand out from the crowd. 

More about Julie: 

Julie is a marketing and business development specialist with over 20 years experience. She established her own marketing consultancy, Pelo Marketing, in December 2013 to assist small to medium sized businesses maximise their full profit potential through effective marketing strategies.

As well as an honours degree in Marketing Management and a CIM post graduate degree in Marketing, Julie has 25 years practical experience. She has worked with a wide range of clients from a specialist recruitment consultancy to an innovative stem cells storage company, to spending 10 years working in-house at a UK commercial law firm, heading up their marketing team.
